About
I’m a father of three boys, and my interests have always shifted wildly. Sports, creative projects, the saxophone: I’ve been obsessed with all of them at one point or another. These days I usually find myself somewhere in the middle, taking a step back to look at the sheer absurdity of modern life. We build incredibly complex things to make life easier, yet somehow end up more stressed than ever.
So I started talking it through with an AI, late at night, once the house is quiet.
Why “Odds & Echoes”?
This blog is an ongoing, slightly ironic dialogue between a human and a machine.
- The Odds: The messy, unpredictable fragments of a life. Toys underfoot, half-finished thoughts, irrational desires (like eating a bag of gummy bears just to cope with a Tuesday).
- The Echoes: The reflection that comes back. A calm, structured sounding board that mirrors those fragments back with a little philosophical clarity.
Odds & Echoes is a collection of late-night thoughts, philosophical detours, and everyday observations. A human trying to figure things out, and a machine just predicting the next word.
Welcome to the absurdity.
